Day 2 was great! Here is one takeaway question:
What is one change you can make to improve your biological soil fertility, whether on your farm or in your daily activities?

I don't have a farm or a garden for that matter :( so.....
This might be controversial but.... lately I have been spreading native flower seed mixes on abandoned lots and little bare patches on the city sidewalk. 🦋 🌻
By doing this I hope to increase the pollinator habitat in my region and that boosting soil biological activity and fertility. Here is a group of people that I follow, and I love their content: https://greenearthgardeners.com/sfinbloom

I'm working on turning ag "waste" into fertility through creating Johnson-Su compost and by bale grazing with my sheep. (FYI, ewes are skillful workers in this fertility project, but lambs consider bales a combination playground and restaurant!)bad bale behavior lambs.jpg
