Linda Coffey

I raise sheep (and for 20 years, dairy goats) on a small farm in northwest Arkansas, and I work for NCAT as a livestock specialist. I grew up in Missouri on our family's Century Farm, and was imprinted on nature there. What a blessing it is to have a place to manage and to enjoy! It's exciting to learn more about how to do it well. This year, we plan to start the process of converting some of the pasture to native warm season grasses, and I plan to establish some strips of native trees, shrubs, and forbs inside some of the pastures. We are working on improving biodiversity and soil health.
