Hello everyone,
My name is Darron Gaus and I am a Sustainable Ag Specialist with NCAT in our Southwest Region office in San Antonio. For the past 5 years I was working as the farm manager at the San Antonio Food Bank. I operated on 105 acres and grew about 300,000 pounds of fruits and vegetables that went directly into SAFB's distribution system through agencies, mobile market, and community kitchens. I have a degree in agriculture from Texas State University in which I specialized in Plant & Soil Science as well as Horticulture. I also have experience on a cow-calf operation. Please feel free to reach out to me on the forum or email darrong@ncat.org for any technical assistance you all may need. I look forward to conversing with you all on this wonderful platform and to also hear and share all of your stories. Thank you!
